Touring and Caravan Park - 5 star Wales Tourist Board

Base yourself at Erwlon to explore Wales.

Date: Friday, September 12th 2014

We’ve always know that we are very lucky to live where we live, attractive market town, rolling countryside and within a short drive from some of Wales’ best attractions (after Llandovery of course). A lot of our visitors enjoy to stay on-site or wonder into Llandovery for a walk but if you do want to explore a bit further afield you can reach most of South, Mid and West Wales within a day drip from Erwlon. So here’s our little run down of places to go: Tenby - the popular seaside resort of Tenby is just over an hour away from Erwlon. Take a trip to Caldey Island (seasonal), relax on the beach or wander around the towns shops, there is plenty of choice of things to do here. Gower - The Uk’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beaty, Gower again is just over an hours drive. Why not head to Three Cliffs Bay or Rhossili Beach while taking a walk along a section of the Wales Coastal Path. New Quay - One of Ceredigion’s top seaside destinations, New Quay is a quaint coastal town - head out to spot the dolphins in Cardigan Bay or just enjoy fish and chips by the seaside. Elan Valley - 50 minutes away from Erwlon is Elan Valley. A series of dams this area is ideal for a stroll, picnic, hike, bike ride, bird watching or fishing. Pen y Fan - Brecon - Erwlon is located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and only an hour away is the highest peak in Southern Wales - Pen y Fan. Or why not explore the market town of Brecon and head to the canal for a walk. Cardiff - Just under 2 hours away is our Capital City Cardiff. So even when enjoying a stay in rural Wales you can still head to the bright lights of the city for the day if you want. So what are you waiting for - come and explore!
