Winter Caravanning - Head to Erwlon this Christmas
Tuesday, November 30th 1999
With December well underway and letters to Santa written and the Christmas decorations up, is your caravan packed away for Winter? Well we are strong believers that there is no need to pack the caravan away in Winter and this is why we are open all year at Erwlon!
There are many benefits to Winter caravanning holidays especially at those special times of the year including Christmas and New Years. Christmas is a time for family and celebration and there's something magical about waking up in Chrismtas morning in your cosy caravan. Here are some of our favourite things about spending some time in the caravan over the festive period.
1. An Extra Adventure
Stepping out of your comfort zone and heading away over the winter months can make it far more adventurous for you than the usual Summer caravanning holiday.
2. Cosy TImes
Head to a warm cosy local pub for food and a drink in front of a warm fire. Feel guilt free in enjoying someone else cook for you instead of you having to do all the work in the caravan.
3. Explore the Surrounding Area
Over the winter you tend to make more of an effort to head to the local attractions and events. Visit great Christmas events such as the Newton House Community Christmas Carols at Dinefwr Park and Castle, Llandeilo on the 18th of December.
4. Avoid the Crowds
Looking for some peace and quiet? Caravanning at this time of year can be far more relaxing, enjoy quieter sites which allows you a real opportunity to chill out.
5. Take time to Read a Good Book
Learn to switch off and even if you do nothing but sit with a book in your caravan all day listening to the rain (yes i'm afraid it rains in Wales sometimes).
6. Christmas in your Caravan
Spend time with the ones you love and enjoy the festive season, imagine that feeling of waking up on Christmas morning in your caravan surrounded by wonderful countryside.
So what are you all waiting for - we look forward to welcoming you to Erwlon this Winter.
